AL ANDALUS TOUR

Al-Andalus was a medieval Muslim state lasting from 711 to 1492 and it left us a rich legacy of art, culture and history. We will visit the Mihrab of an old mosque, the old Muslim town "Madinat", the "Casbah" or "Alcazaba", the citadel and other emblematic spots. We will also meet 3 historical characters during our tour: the Jewish physician Shaprut, the female dancer Jassa and the local female poet Al Ballishiyya.
